Absences

We do not offer make-up lessons when a student misses a lesson for any reason, including illness or prearranged vacation

We also do not give credits or refunds when a student misses a lessons for any reason. In the event that a teacher misses a lesson, it will either be rescheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for the student and teacher, or we will credit your account.

Photos, Videos, Observations

We reserve the right to photograph and video students for training and promotional purposes.

Because we offer Suzuki Teacher Training, it is common to have teachers attending training courses to observe our lessons as part of their course requirements.

We also have an open door policy, allowing local teachers to come observe lessons.

Group Classes

Group classes are an integral part of the Suzuki Method. We do not offer the option to “opt out”, and require all students to attend group classes.

There are no group classes scheduled during the Summer Term

Summer tuition rates are the same as during the academic year.

Stay at Home

In order to protect teacher and other students from contagious ilnesses, we request that students who have a fever, or who have had a fever within 24 hours, do not attend private lessons or group classes.

The same guidelines are suggested for students with nausea. Teachers reserve the right to not teach lessons for students who are ill, or appear to be suffering symptoms of the flu, colds, etc.

Non-discrimination Notice

We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and other school-administered programs.

Let's Talk

Open communication is a necessary part of any educational endeavor. We strongly encourage open communication between the student, parent, and teacher. If conflicts arise during the course of the school year, please inform us immediately.

During one of the last four weeks of the school year we hold parent conferences, without the student, in lieu of a lesson. This conference gives the parent and teacher a chance to revisit each others' vision for the child, and discuss the progress towards a shared vision.

Additional conference times may be scheduled if deemed necessary by either parent or teacher.

The development of your child is the essence of our work.
